ICT Zone was honoured to participate in Kempen Pengurusan E-Waste on 17 January at Open University Malaysia (Bangi), where our CEO, Tommy Lim, joined as a panellist to discuss the growing importance of responsible e-waste management.
Tommy highlighted ICT Zone’s approach to tackling e-waste through structured device lifecycle strategies, including refurbishment, repurposing and proper end-of-life processes. He emphasised that effective e-waste management requires collaboration across industries, bringing together technology providers, customers, regulators and recyclers to build a truly sustainable circular economy.
He also shared how lifecycle-driven ICT models help organisations reduce waste, maximise asset value and transition towards more responsible digital practices — aligning environmental responsibility with long-term business efficiency.
As an organisation committed to sustainable ICT, ICT Zone is proud to contribute to this important conversation. We will continue supporting initiatives that promote greener technology adoption and help organisations practise responsible digital stewardship.
Thank you to Open University Malaysia for hosting this meaningful dialogue and to all participants who are championing a more sustainable future.
