ICT Zone Supporting NRES in Advancing Carbon-Neutral ICT 🌱

ICT Zone is proud to support the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) through the Carbon Neutral Computing Services (CNCS) initiative, a collaborative effort aimed at promoting greener ICT practices across Malaysia.

Led by Starza Corporation, with HP as the technology principal and ICT Zone providing the technology financing and device lifecycle framework, the programme successfully offset the carbon footprint of 441 ICT assets — equivalent to 130.04 tonnes of CO₂e. This milestone demonstrates the real, measurable impact that can be achieved when sustainability is embedded into technology operations.

The CNCS initiative shows how public–private collaboration can drive meaningful progress toward Malaysia’s broader sustainability goals, including the Net Zero 2050 commitment and the Malaysia MADANI agenda.

At ICT Zone, we remain dedicated to supporting responsible digital transformation. Our subscription-based ICT solutions are designed to deliver performance, cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility, allowing organisations to adopt technology in a more sustainable and financially accessible way.

We look forward to contributing to more initiatives that advance low-carbon, future-ready ICT adoption across Malaysia’s digital economy.
