Tommy highlighted that technology today functions as a connected ecosystem — where AI, cloud, cybersecurity, device lifecycle management, and technology financing work together to reshape business operations.
He also outlined three major shifts shaping 2026 and beyond:
- AI hardware is rising, bringing computing back to the edge and creating new demand across devices and data centres.
- Digitalisation in Malaysia and ASEAN is accelerating, but SMEs continue to face cost and talent gaps — increasing the importance of subscription-based TechFin models.
- Everything-as-a-Service (XaaS) is replacing one-time purchases as organisations prioritise cost efficiency, flexibility, and resilience.
Tommy also shared ICT Zone’s progress, including our 7-in-1 XaaS ecosystem, our sustainability-led Carbon Neutral Computing Services, and our strengthened position in the ICT leasing market — now at ~18% market share with a recurring order book above RM250 million.
As we look ahead, ICT Zone remains committed to continuous growth, strong governance, and expanding our presence across ASEAN.
