ICT Zone Supports SME Digitalisation at SME Digital Scale-Up: Tech Up, Scale Up! 2026
ICT Zone Asia Berhad participated in the SME Digital Scale-Up Seminar: “Tech Up, Scale Up!” on 25 September 2026 at G Hotel Gurney, Pulau Pinang.
The event brought together SMEs, technology providers and industry stakeholders to explore how artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and smart solutions can support business growth and help organisations become more digitally ready.
Connecting with SMEs in Penang
Throughout the event, ICT Zone welcomed visitors to its exhibition booth, providing an opportunity for business owners, industry representatives and other attendees to engage directly with the team and learn more about ICT Zone’s technology solutions.
The participation provided a platform for ICT Zone to share how businesses can simplify IT management, optimise technology investment and adopt technology solutions that support their digital transformation journey.
The seminar also featured insights from organisations including MDEC, SHRDC, MIMOS and other industry participants, contributing to discussions surrounding technology adoption and digital growth among Malaysian SMEs.
Showcasing the SewaJe Programme
One of the key highlights at the ICT Zone booth was SewaJe, an initiative by Komputer Murah, empowered by ICT Zone, designed to provide more flexible and affordable access to ICT devices through a rental model.
The booth also received a visit from YBrs. Encik Rizal bin Dato’ Nainy, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SME Corp Malaysia.
During his visit, he expressed that he was impressed with the SewaJe programme and commented that the initiative was well suited to the market segment it aims to serve.
The positive feedback provided further encouragement for the team as SewaJe continues to expand its outreach and introduce an alternative way for users to access quality ICT devices without requiring a high upfront purchase cost.
Through SewaJe, ICT Zone and Komputer Murah aim to make technology more accessible by offering a device rental approach centred on affordability, flexibility and practical access to technology.
